Who said that if your hair is natural then you can't wear a sleek style? Well they have it all wrong! I am 100% natural and as you can tell by my thumbnail, it can be done. I started the process by straightening only the perimeter of my hair. I didn't feel as if I needed to flat iron my entire head if it was going in a ponytail anyway. Lol - I then added cornrows to the front of my head. The braids are what makes the style your own in my opinion. Have fun with the braids! -Try different shapes and partings - I used Murray's Australian beeswax to slick my ponytail up into place. I chose beeswax since it isn't water based( I didn't want my hair to revert back to its curly texture). I then added kanekalon hair ponytail to form a faux bun. This is a fun sleek natural hairstyle. This style would be a great option for s special occasion as well. I hope that you enjoy this tutorial:)
