Who said that if your hair is natural then you can't wear a sleek style? Well they have it all wrong! I am 100% natural and as you can tell by my thumbnail, it can be done. I started the process by straightening only the perimeter of my hair. I didn't feel as if I needed to flat iron my entire head if it was going in a ponytail anyway. Lol - I then added cornrows to the front of my head. The braids are what makes the style your own in my opinion. Have fun with the braids! -Try different shapes and partings - I used Murray's Australian beeswax to slick my ponytail up into place. I chose beeswax since it isn't water based( I didn't want my hair to revert back to its curly texture). I then added kanekalon hair ponytail to form a faux bun. This is a fun sleek natural hairstyle. This style would be a great option for s special occasion as well. I hope that you enjoy this tutorial:) -iamtravia
Hello everyone!!I recently decided to do a flexi rod set on my natural hair. My hair was stretched prior to the installation. I only used ten flexi rods to achieve these bouncy curls that you see in my thumbnail! No you did not read that wrong; ten flexi rods. Five of the rods were Orange and five were blue. I used Lotta body setting lotion this time. I think that it worked pretty well on my type 4 hair. I left the rods in my hair overnight. I must say was very satisfied with my flexi rod set results. My curls were very soft and defined! The flexi rod set video is attached If you want to see the rod installation step by step. Enjoy this tutorial :) -iamtravia
